Smith Mountain Lake Sailing School provides US sailing-certified instruction. They can accommodate everyone from beginning sailors, to advanced coaching for those with experience who just want to improve their sailing skills! You can take classes on the school's sailboats, or on your own boat, if you have one!
The classes focus on safety, good seamanship and, of course, having fun! Classes for beginners will include basic boat handling and sail trim.
